However, whenever I decide to squad up with people I lose 9/10 of them. Might have something to do with the fact that when your playing solo , your thinking about the TEAM and what you could do to secure the win for the TEAM and when your in a squad , your placing yourself in a box to highlight your squad mates .
Your following them and their orders , your keeping up with them and have less freedom because your playing their game and not the game of the TEAM which is free flowing and adjustable .
Why do you think that most of the squads and corps complain about everything .?. high uplinks because they don't want to change their game to address the threat , they would rather stat pad and kill their way to victory instead of playing a game of strategy , they don't like scanners because it points out their position to those who don't have the numbers and movements of a blob that will kill everything in it's radius because scanners point out their movement , they don't like vehicles ... again , HAV's and ADS's prompt change of tactics which they don't like .
This is not a team game as much as people care to point out , it's a squad game .
Stomps squads can redline a uncoordinated team in the first two to three minuets of a match , with the rest of the team bringing up the rear to enforce that initial zerg , it's just too easy to point out the flaws of the game and that's what angers me even more about the fact that CCP doesn't care to change the game to make it more of a TEAM game instead of a squad highlighted game .
Pub matches should consist of both teams comprised of random players to break up the coordinated squads that create mismatches in pub matches . That takes away the competitive nature of the game with one side having a outstanding advantage over the other because of the time and knowledge that coordinated squads have over random players . That's why even if you did force players to squad , the coordinated squads would always win and now have the excuse of the fact that both teams have squads but the one with familiarity will always trump the ones that were random individuals that were forced to squad I mean , for the most part that's two to three years of an advantage because these players are in the same corporation or once were and became squad mates from that experience , you can't make that type of advantage up and you sure can't believe that causing players to squad would bring some sort of balance to that and to believe that just sounds stupid .
That's countless matches of experience together in a unit over random individuals with unknown experience being place in A MATCH or A FEW MATCHES , there really is no comparison .
Coordinated squads should be for PC and FW matches .
It's no wonder that some of the best game come from both teams being made up of random players .
I've played matches where a single squad redlined an entire team because they were trying to get mobilized while the squad was already mobile and at the goal which left next to nothing for the rest of the team to do and crushed the will of the opposing team because they couldn't get coordinated out of the door , like the squad with familiarity could / did .
Bad enough that sometimes you have two or three squads on one team against random players , which is why CCP should focus on matchmaking because it's ruining the game .
It's no wonder that you play better when your solo , your thinking about what you could do to help the TEAM first , when your in a squad .. your focus and concern is that squad , people can lie and say something else but that's all it amounts to is a lie .
Matches tell the truth of the matter every time .
Teamwork is really important - said the Tyrannosarus Rex from Kung Fury .
